Scarecrow Festival
On Saturday, we took the kids to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I really missed my Tanner, but he wanted to spend some one on one time with Grandma. The kids had great fun. They went on one inflatable slide after another to their hearts content! There was also music, and games and face painting. We even had Navajo tacos for dinner. The weather was just so perfect. It was a great evening. I enjoyed watching the kids have fun-even Gavin loved it. He jammed to the Bluegrass music in his stroller and rode around on Dad's shoulders too. This has been a beautiful weekend. The weather has been great. We did a lot of much needed cleaning and organizing, but had some fun too. I looked at my kids playing all around at the park today in the nice weather and I just thought: This is the best time of my life! I love these little kiddos and they are so worth my journey.

I agree, this is the best time of life- thank goodness for those moments when we realize it!
How fun. I have to remind myself it is fall, the colors haven't changed and just yesterday it was cold enough to have to find the box of "winter" clothes. But then today, we were warm and sunny again, wearing shorts and t-shirts!
That's so cute how you have the pics posted like that.
Yeah, how do you do the little pics like that, is that using picassa? Looks like you guys had fun! We went on Friday, it also was such nice weather. I wish fall would last longer.
Great fun. Maybe someday, WE will get to do that.
Looks like you all had a lot of fun! That's always good.
I love your family pictures. They are so cute. It sounds like you had a really fun time.
I love this time of year! And I love your new family pictures on the side. Very Cute.
