Lucky twins! They had their birthday at Lagoon this year! I guess that's a perk for having a summer birthday! Tanner feels a little cheated! ;) They opened some of their gifts at home the night before. They each got a scooter and a few other gifts!
Megan requested a rainbow cake...inside AND out! This is what it looked like:

Zach was so into Pirates of the Caribbean after this past D-Land trip, so for him it was a pirate cake. I originally tried to make it look like the ride, but ended up going for a pirate island type thing instead. For those of you hard core Disney fans, you will notice it is complete with the "redhead" as in "We wants the redhead"! LOL... oh, and Davy Jones is coming out of the water too. Click for detail. He was happy so that is what's important!

Oh poor Ariel she's being taken by pirates! That is one awesome cake! What is the sand made out of? It looks like maybe crushed nuts.
The sand is brown sugar.
Adorable cakes! We went to an amusement park tonight in Erie, PA, and were reminiscing about good old Lagoon!
